LJRadioTV…”Just Listen… and Watch!”
We broadcast our famous Muirlands Daily Bulletin sponsored by Time Warner Cable on a daily basis. It is always labeled by the date it was recorded! Listen to that for the latest campus news and future events. We have fun new features in the bulletin. Listen for the Mystery Person of the week clues Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, we will reveal who the Mystery Person is and announce three student winners. Same goes for the Mystery Band Contest sponsored by Don Carlos Taco Shop. Also, be on the lookout for our weekly Video Bulletin posted every Monday which runs until Friday.
Our student DJ’s offer a wide variety of podcasts, music creations, and video projects for your listening and viewing pleasure.
You may be listening to the students of Muirlands Middle School in La Jolla, California. OUR GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!
We made a successful Guinness World Record™ attempt on Sunday, May 3, 2009! During our Muirland Rocks event right here on the Muirlands Field! We broke the Guinness World Records™ record for The LARGEST EVER Three-Legged Race (most pairs). The previous record was 80 pairs! We started the race with 204 pairs and finished with 190 pairs! We did break the record with 380 people and we had a lot of fun! We have received the Guinness World Record Certification! Congratulations Muirlands and all the people who came to help us! Muirlands Rocks!
We are currently researching and brainstorming new ideas for another attempt at a different Guinness World Record™. If you have any suggestions, feel free to email us at whatsup@ljradio.com
